The IUA cordially invites you to the launch of RIAN, Ireland's portal to Open Access research publications.

RIAN harvests content from Open Access institutional repositories in all seven Irish universities and the DIT. For the first time, Irish research will be made freely available on a worldwide scale. It is the outcome of a project which was managed by the IUA Librarians' Group, supported by the IUA, and funded through the Strategic Innovation Fund.

THE EVENT:

Opening Address: Mary Coughlan T.D., Minister for Education and Skills

Keynote speech on the role and importance of Open Access to research.

This will be followed by a demonstration of RIAN.

Presentations will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity to view and discuss the repositories in more detail.
